Ironman and triathlon preparation with altitude training: more endurance across three disciplines, without extra training hours.
An Ironman requires months of build-up. A six-week altitude block fits the final phase, with a ten-day taper before the race. Research in well-trained triathletes shows more erythropoiesis and better performance after two weeks of live high, train low.

“Prima service. De telefoon wordt opgepakt en er wordt duidelijk advies gegeven. Het effect is lastig meetbaar maar voelde me veel beter op hoogte.”

Service meer dan prima !!! Dit was maar een testfase. Hierbij komt ook nog dat ik het op komende wedstrijden + stages niet kan ervaren aangezien deze allemaal afgelast zijn.

Training advice for endurance athletes and for treks and climbs above 3,000 metres: training at simulated altitude as a performance stimulus and as pre-acclimatisation, with an altitude training schedule for the preparation.
Athletes usually stop 7 to 10 days before their peak race so the body is fully recovered. Mountaineers keep sleeping at altitude until just before departure so the acclimatisation is as fresh as possible.
Tell us what you are working towards. We advise you personally on build-up, sleeping altitude and system.
Choose your sport. We translate your race date into a programme: when to start, how long to sleep at altitude and when to taper.
More VO₂max, more red blood cells and a higher lactate threshold towards your marathon, half marathon or trail run. Sleep high, train low.
The alternative to an altitude camp abroad. Sleep at altitude in your own bed and keep your training routine, family and work.
Guided altitude programmes for elite athletes, teams and training centres, in consultation with coach and medical staff.
