How long do I have to stay in an altitude tent?

Two different aspects are important here: First, the number of hours per night spent in the tent. Studies show that 6 to 8 hours already have an effect, but that the effect increases if you spend more hours in the height tent. The effect increases up to 12 hours. More is of no use. A recent study from Finland shows that there is no difference between 12h or 24h per day at altitude.

Secondly, there is the question of how long the actual period of such an altitude training with altitude tent should be. Just like in the mountains, this is very individual. The more you use the altitude tent, the faster the acclimatisation and then the improvements in the body can start.
