Your SpO₂ trend
Your morning value is stable
One reading says little: what matters is the development over several days. The pale band is the target zone of 90 to 93%.
Your climb
From 1,534 m to 2,145 m in 12 nights
Your altitude per night, from the setting you note in the evening (tap closed). There is deliberately no fixed schedule: your morning saturation sets the pace.

Saturation table
Your morning saturation is the only thing that steers the tent. There is deliberately no fixed altitude schedule: your body sets the pace.
| 94% or higher | One step up: too little stimulus |
| 90 to 93% | Keep the setting: optimal zone, aim for about 92% |
| 89% or lower | One step down: too heavy a load |
Your log
The pattern over three days tells more than a single reading.

Together your morning readings form your SpO₂ trend. With it you and our Altitude Specialists can see how your body responds to the altitude, and every evening you get advice for your setting.

How your programme works
- Sleep in the tent every night, at least 7 hours. Under 6 hours a night has less effect.
- Measure every morning right after waking up, still lying in the altitude tent and before you open it, with a warm finger.
- Always change the setting one step at a time and stay at least two nights on a new setting before raising again.
- Two bad nights in a row: one step back, even if your saturation is good.
- Missed a night? Carry on at the same setting. Miss at most two nights a week, otherwise that week brings no progress. After a break of three or more nights, restart one step lower.
- Air the tent during the day, drink half a litre of water a day more than usual and avoid or limit alcohol before sleeping at altitude.
- A light headache on waking, restless sleep or vivid dreams after a step up are normal and usually pass within two to three nights.
- For an expedition you sleep in the tent as close to departure as possible.
