5/58-06-2018We had a fantastically beautiful trip. Nepal and Tibet were an amazing experience. Our experience with Altitude Dream? Your service is excellent! The site is accessible, informative and the reviews contribute positively to working with you. Contact is informal, pleasant and adequate. The equipment you supplied is good and user-friendly. Altitude Dream felt familiar to us! Karen and I believe that sleeping in the altitude tent prepared us excellently for our trip. Karen had the occasional headache from 4000 metres and above. But with two tablets of Paracetamol, that was soon gone. After the night in Mount Everest base-camp, she had a severe headache and did feel nauseous. It was very cold that night and Karen then used an electric blanket. I don't think that one did her any good either. When we descended, she soon recovered. I myself did not suffer from anything! I think my way of breathing played a part in this. In fact, when I was introduced to the Buteyko method several years ago, I consciously started breathing 'differently'. Over the whole trip, we had a good appetite and except for that one time with Karen, we didn't suffer from nausea. Of course, when exerting yourself, you do feel that you need to take it easy. But that makes sense. Above 4000 metres, Karen's saturation was between 85 and 90%. My saturation was between 88 and 93%. All in all, we were able to enjoy our trip virtually symptom-free and thus full. So for such a trip, an altitude tent as preparation is highly recommended as far as we are concerned! Thanks again and if we go high into the mountains again I know where to find you J
Greetings,
Karen and Pieter
